Monday Morning Musings

Good morning Monday sunshine!

Monday is believed to be the hardest and least pleasant day of the entire week. For this reason I thought today (which is Monday as well) would be the perfect moment to recollect the most spectacular highlights of the past week.

And to have all sorts of happy flutters in your chest push "play" and listen to these amazing Soundtracks For Everyday Adventures. Enjoy!

May 14th 2012, Monday, Moscow (a week ago from now)

Moscow is such a huge melting pot, so you never know who you can meet on your way down in Moscow sub.  But as a rule, all the best things happen unexpectedly and later on result in some epic occasions.

Back in mid April I accidently got acquainted with Vice Ambassador of Morocco while I was pushing my way through the rushing crowd at one of the metro stations.

Such inspirational meetings tend to reach out into the future. And in my case it was last Moday eveining spent in Ritz Carlotn Hotel since I got invited to the National Day Reception of Emirates.

It's a completely different world of politicians where you have to dress nicely, smile nicely and behave nicely.

To be honest it's quite shocking when, for instance, the Ambassador of Brazil or Pakistan come up to you, shake your hand and just start chatting and joking like they are no longer big shots. Really, why?

Couldn't take it for too long, even thought it was a fantastic experience, and sneaked out with my cam in search of juicy moments to photograph.

Here's a little bit of what I've got.

Sweets have always been the fifth basic element of life! I knew that!

Negotiations are always held during the informal part like having a drink or smoking a cigar at some distance of an aloof formality. 

Yellow and elegantly simple jars of Aqua di Parma perfume were a wonderful outlet for my fashion&fragrances needs.

Playing with reflections has always been my passion in photography. Voilà!

The chandelier magnetized me. Couldn't take my eyes off it. 

But if you'd be attentive enough you'll notice that the lady walking out of the door (top right corner of the pic above) is wearing a marine style top, which is in vogue this season again. Be all eyes for the fashion cuties!

And fabulous is the fact that a bright, intelligent and fascinating personality is hiding behind the big shot status!

And this is the city that I'm head over heels in love with!

The Time is Now

Hey guys,

Inna was doing pretty an impressive job pushing me to show up on e-life. Finally here I am. 

However, our various lives like personal, social and professional might get super hectic at times, which makes us forget about everything else that's going on around and we start missing out.

Well, luckily it doesn't last forever. The spring is in the air (at last!) and there's a huge insentive to get inspired and enlightened.

I'll start with a little teaser. A juicy piece of my greatest passion - photography.
